I have a stripped 17" monitor but lumenlab is out of stock of the larger 'pro' fresnel lenses. Does anyone know where I would be able to buy larger fresnel lenses, ones that will work on a 17" monitor?

Also is it a huge problem if both fresnel lenses have the same focal length?

Well depends on your triplet. You need to match the front fresnel with the triplet. You'll want a 220mm for the rear fresnel, and a 33omm for the front if you're using a standard LL Triplet, or a 550-650mm if you're using a Pro Triplet.
