Full Version: Fpd1830
Hi all, new to forum and projector building here. I have a gateway monitor with a burned-out backlight, but i haven't seen any plans that incorporate the 18" size... Is this even possible? I'd like to know before i invest too much into it!
Theoretically, the pro lens set will produce good results with up to a 19" LCD. Most people just use 17's though.

It might not be a bad backlight. I ran across this while looking up the specs.

The monitor I have is indeed a backlight issue, but we have another fpd1830 here at work that may benefit from that patch. Thanks for the tip!
