Hi, I got a glass from a scanner, Can I use this glass as a temperature glass?

I am also using a second glass from a Picture frame Can this help my scanner glass?


My current setup is:


Light------->Scanner glass--->Picture glass-----> frenslens----->LCD---->Frenslens----->lens

I wouldn't bother wih the picture frame glass.

The glass from a scanner should be tempered. the picture frame glass will do more harm than good, so ditch it. also, tempered glass has no inherent UV blocking capability, so you may want to look into a UV sheild to help protect your LCD. I say may because some are running without UV protection and have no problems, while others have a lot of problems unsure.gif
