Full Version: Pro Lens Kit Sale!?
Does anyone know why there is a $50 off sale for the pro lens kit!? How long is it going to last? Is it because of diyprojectorcompany joined lumenlab, are they going to be replacing/adding new items?

YARRRRRR, and to believe I just paid the full $250 for it....On the bright side, at least I don't have to wait for the lenses to come back in stock. I just got all my stuff in the mail on Thursday. Wohoo!
Maybe it was because of the mixup with the overselling the pro fresnels...?
Does the pro triplet ship immediately, or do we have to wait for the fresnels to arrive at the end of September?
I need a pro triplet to give my 15" setup a smaller image, until I get around to making a 17" setup for some HD action. So I'd like to have the pro triplet right away and get a temporary fresnel to cut down for my current box. So if I can get the triplet right away, I'll reach for my Visa. If I'm stuck waiting until September I guess it's back to scouring the trading post and eBay.

LL policy is to ship the order when all components are off backorder. You might be able to get them to ship it seperately if you send an email.
If you order the pro lens by itself I'm sure it'll ship ASAP. If you reserve a pro lens kit then you'll have to wait...

yes but I imagine they will combine orders shipping to the same place, and if you don't reserve a pro lens kit, you run the chance of not getting one.

I happen to find out sorta the reason why its on sale.
The deal is if your reserve the Kit now, the estimated arrival date on it is Sept. 27th, its like a MONTH AND A HALF, its kinda too long.

Pro Lens kits are on sale because we are doing a big buy on them to get the price lower! There has always been a wait to get Pro Lenses....this time is like every other except we are doubling the quantity to lower the price. This has left us very exposed financially so we need everyone to pitch in and pay now. It's a win/win situation.
Anyone needing just a triplet can receive it immediately.
