I just wanted to do a quick post rather than just being a lurker. I'm just getting started, so forgive me if this post is just so, so. But so far, I have stripped the LCD in about an hour and a half last night and of course the samsung 151s has the ffc problems. I have ordered the rest of the parts today. So far the tally is:

If you have this model you should be all set, unless you are talking about extending the control cables, in which case it is not a ffc it is a connector or the cables themselves.

NO FFC Issues

There must be different revs of the 151s. There are 2 PCBs drivers on the back of the panel. One on the top and one on the right. When they are lifted out of the way to expose the lcd panel, the ffc will be too short. Randy had the same problem with his 151s. Checkout:
