Hi,

Not sure how much use this may be, but someone might get something out of it.

For various reasons, I've had to take a factory made projector from China to pieces, so I took loads of photos as I went.

I still have all the parts in various stages of being stripped if anyone wants any further photos of any components etc.

So, ultimately, I'm left with a very handy projector case and a few bits and bobs so I'm planning on using my standard fresnel, triplet etc to create a new projector.

I'm going to try and get a higher resolution LCD to put in it to make the project worthwhile. The fresnels used in this originally were 7.5" diagonal, so I think I can use a similar sized LCD?

The main problem I can see though is the focal length of the standard fresnels is probably longer than the actual box. Does anyboy know if I can get frensels with a shorter focal length?

Also, any comments you guys have on this would be much appreciated. I'm just kind of thinking of using the case for a new projector at the moment, I've not actually got past the thinking about it stage yet....

Thanks for the pics, always nice to see stripped commercial projectors, although this one was very simple so didn't really offer anything new, but still great to see inside.
