I was going to start a new thread, but I'll just piggy-back on this one since it seems apropos...
Found this one on newegg.com for $289, any idea if it's a re-badge of something else? I did a forum search and didn't find any mention of it anywhere. Contrast ratio and response time seem decent.

Lame pixel policy, but otherwise it looks promising. And is there anything wrong with using a 14" panel?
Methinks it's about time throw down and buy the guide.

I found these for like $180.00 on ebay, looks good, but not sure if it what I need, here is a link to the specs.
If you can't find the CMV1515 anywhere look for other CMV models like CT-529A etc.
Apart from contrast and response time the transmissivity is the most important factor on deciding which lcd to use for projection. CMV and Lilliput panels seem to be the best. BenQ (AU Optronics) 15" not as good. Differences are quite big, it's almost like CMV with 250W MH is as bright as BenQ with 400W MH.
