The side that feels like suade is rubberized\vynalized whaterver you want to call it and it can come off very easy and theres no white underneath the rubber its black so here are some tip i made to prevent this.
---What not to do---
The reason theese issues happend is cause i had wrinkels so avoid them at all cost.
1. Never tape the material on its suade side unless you want to keep it permanet.
Cause: it rips the rubber off.
2. Never iron it.
Cause: it will melt
3. Never steam it this is optional to do but not recomended.
Cause: It makes the rubber vaunerable to peeling or scratching off.
4. Dont allow pointy objects rub gainst the screen it.
Cause: It will scratch the rubber off
---Fixing the problem---
now if any of this has ever happend to u I did an easy fix not perfect but it keeps you from staring at black marks on the screen I used flat white spray paint its a long process but it works for me
1. get rid of any rubber flakes or and peices that are sticking up
2. get your spray paint you do not need alot now stay atleast 6-8 inches away and do 2 swipes with paint over the affected aera and wait to dry repeat the same steaps till the mark dissapears
The reason 2 swipes then dry is because if u went and painted it all the way after it dryed it would leave a deep texture and that aera will appear to be darker than the rest of the screen and doing 2 swipes and drying each time prevents this deep texture.
---Wrinkels---
The best thing that worked for wrinkels for me is TIME yes time let the screen hang on a shower rod or finish your screen and let time do the work the wrinkels will streach out under the screens own weight and the wrinkels will streach out in a day or 2.
---Cleaning---
Now as for cleaning I just used some water but if you plan on useing solvents get a piece of scrap and spray it on and give it a quick rub if the rubber peels try another cleaner if it dosent please share what you used
so far i only found out that alchohol makes it peel so make sure you have some scrap to test on.
If you want to try other methods for the screen for cleaning/wrinkels ect. keep this in mind "What would make a Balloon POP".
