OK i have a samsung 512N stripped. i tested it after removing the antiglare and it worked fine. anyhow i needed to partly disassemble the projector and now i reassembled it. i turned on the projector but the LCD won't turn on.
what do you think is the problem? i already checked the power connection and it is all wired up properly. any way the FCC's could be damaged? they look fine, but if they are how would i know it is the FCCs that are the problem?
also TESCORP mentioned when i asked him that the LCD has to be grounded, what exactly does he mean?
any input on what you think is wrong with it?
thanks

Can you plug a backlight into to make sure the PS is ok?
Tescorp is referring to the fact that the ground connections on the circuitry powering your LCD panel must remain connected to ground. The wires are normally green and would have originally connected probably to the chassis of the monitor, which would itself be connected eventually to the ground.
As Tenderheart says, some screens also have problems starting up if the backlight is disconnected.
What is the LED on the control panel showing?
Also remember you will need to shine a light at the panel to see anything if you have removed the backlight!
Good luck.
