I summed up all the parts if purchased individually...and it's EQUAL to the price of the kit. Sorry, no discount purchasing as a kit

Seeing as there's no discount by purchasing it in it's entirely, now I'm wondering if I should swap out some of the parts...
Meaning, could I do better in quality or price

I don't think any of the "kits" are discounted. eg. the "pro lens kit" is the same price as the 3 lenses if purchased seperately.
The mega kit is kind of a "here's what I need, and I don't have to spen hours apon hours shopping for something marginally better" kit. If you've got the time to research for different parts, you'll probably find better stuff and/or lower prices. For instance, the mogal can almost certainly be had for free if you spent enough time looking for one, but that time would probably be better spent elsewhere.

Actually, the lighting kit is slightly discounted.
Regardless, I think most people assume "kits" are discounted...if you're not one of em, well onto the next thread for you
