How well do you think this would work for a projector? I have a 220mm front fresnel, would the zoom range work well with this? I'm also using a 400W bulb. Unfortunately it is hard to tell the size of the lens from the picture.

Well, the diameter of the lens on that sharp looks very small. So it looks like it's used for small lcds like in the commercial projectials. I think if this were put in a 17" LL projector lets say, we wouldn't even see the corners, and only a portion of the center. Maybe this would work well with smaller lcd panels.

I'm using a 7" widescreen lcd. So this may work.
