Do I HAVE to use the e-ballast?? Because here's the thing: I'm poor.... kinda.... I don't want to buy an e-ballast. If a mag ballast will work, what type??

Thanks guys.

No, you don't have to use the eballast. There remains a teeny-tiny little point of confusion (in my mind at least) regarding precisely which ballast to get so hang in there.

should work fine with an m59 ballast. some people have used it successfully with an m135 ballast but you might have difficulties starting it.
