I don't want to sound impatient, but I haven't heard anything about my order I placed with the LL store on 7/19/06. I realize there may have been A LOT of back orders, but the "stock updates" page said to give 'em 1-3 days in order to fulfill these back orders. I've used that support form a couple times and haven't heard anything back. Meh, I'm just anxious to get started. Like I said, I don't want to sound impatient, I'm just curious as to what my $$$ has been doing.

Maybe the merger with DIYPJCO is part of the cause? Has anyone else recieved their orders yet?

Perhaps someone on the inside can post some info. I'm sure there are other noob's out there like me with the same question. If not, uh-oh...

really dont panic,, LL have always honoured all orders,,,,

They would be run off thier little tootsies, with all the new customers lately,,,

Lots of stuff happening with the small staff. New baby. Logistics to contend with regarding their recent move. DIYPC acquisition. Lots of new members. When a container of stuff comes in they have to unload and check everything. It's a small but growing company and things kinda happen in bursts. Patience always pays off here. Hang in there . . .

I feel your pain email replies are virtually non existant it took a week to recieve a reply and the day i got a reply was the day i received my product. Just so you know don't count on a tracking number because I have yet to recieve one for either order.

....just......can't........stand......the wait......

I know what's coming, but its like waiting for Christmas. I keep hoping that by chance, I'm gonna come home from work with a package sitting on my doorstep despite the fact that I haven't recieved any tracking number or confirmation of shipment. I'll spread the packing peanuts and bubble wrap across the floor, neatly lay all the parts across the floor, and spend a few minutes oggling at my new toys. Then I'll wonder exactly how in the world I'm gonna make this thing look half as good as Haas' design.

Softball season is over next week. After that, I'll have nothing to do in the evenings.

I'm confident the stuff will show, I just hope my patience holds out.

some people have already gotten their backordered e-ballast shipment. I imagine the whole lot will be arriving very shortly. hold your horses

Yeah, I'm waiting for a shipment, too, but I know that it'll come.

Sometimes things get delayed, that's a part of business when it's a small company. (Often for a big company, too!) but I've been consistently impressed by the LL staff when it comes to customer service.

So while I'm waiting, I'm checking out other components that I want to look at, and working on designs and the like.

So far my projectors have been basic, ugly boxes. I want to change that.

I was (am) still in the same boat.
I did receive a response that the package should ship today. It's hard to wait patiently cos it's a pretty cool thing we are getting into.
My PJ has been half finished for a couple of weeks and the suspense is killing me.
Based on the posts in the forum I am convinced that the wait will be worth it - so I keep checking my email and hoping every day the 'its shipped' message and/or parcel will arrive.

I am in that same boat. I ordered on the 20th of this month so I guess I shouldn't be too upset yet.

I am just eager to get started.

While you jedi's are awaiting your orders perhaps you can start building your box, case, enclosure? This may give you a headstart for some fresh ideas to implement.

O jedi master SIMUL8R. I cant speak for the other guys but as for me my only lacks that critical element the triplet o ya and sealing the light leaks once everything is done. And Im already planning for a second projector i mean come on if your gonna have one you might as well have two or three or.....

Same goes for me - I have all the wood prepared - I am waiting for the lens and elecricals to cut the final few pieces of timber and get her lit. I have plenty of other things to do in preparation - I just want to hold the pieces in my hands! I am partway through finishing my basement in readiness so the extra time is not the issue (in fact it's probably a good thing or I would never get round to finishing the room).

i'm waiting too. i already got my box made. w/o the lens and stuff i can't start building my cradle or the lens housing.....i'm kinda stuck. hehe

I ordered on July 11 and haven't gotten any update yet but, am hopeful. Someone mentioned that some people have already received their backordered ballasts. If anyone has received a backordered ballast, please post the date you ordered and received the order so we can get some sort of timeline of when to expect ours. Medical stuff has come up and unless by some miracle my order arrives tomorrow the next time I'll maybe be able to work on it will be 2-3 weeks from monday . Such is life.

i got my tracking number yesterday. ordered around 11th i think. can't remember heh. almost there buddy
