Seems to have all the qualities of a projection lens, the size is fantastic. The diameter og the lens area is 105mm, but the diameter from rim to rim is 120mm. It's got some kind if focusing mechanisn(manual) and I can also be separated in such a way that tou a a doublet and a singlet... I let the pictures explain, hopefully better than I can do.Click to view attachment

So, any takers in identifying this? What I do know is that whatever it's, if it's usable, it would have to matched by the other optics fl.

Measure its focal length with and without the singlet using the sun.
If it's longer than 250mm then it might be usable. But some of these
lenses had special optical correction designed in because of the CRT
front screen curvature. Setup something like a simple opaque projector
and see if it can properly magnify a flat object such as a newspaper.

Pretty sure about the curvature. Please keep us posted on this. I have three of them out of my RCA home theater.
