I read the PDF several times and just want to make sure im understanding it correctly. I scoped out a location in the house. After finding a good spot, i figured that the focus box will be about 11 feet from the wall that i want to project near.

On page 13 of the guide, it says that (b) should be ~20mm away from the LCD (4).

First question what is ~? Does that mean atleast or about?

Second question, The focal calculator says that if i want my projected image to be 110", then i would need a focal length of 15.84 inches. Now, That is the distance of Z i would assume. So with that setting, now between the LCD(4) and (b) would be about 2.5 inches?

Third question, if i just keep the focal length at near 340mm, the projected image size is should be 134". That is diagonally or horizontally ? And, would the image look great at that size or will i suffer a loss of quality?

I'm sure that these might sound like some silly questions, but i just want to make sure i dont mess up right off the bat! ;-)

Hi Sepultura and welcome to the forums. With the current lens the projection ratio is about 1:1, so if your projection lens is 11' away from the screen your picture will be about 11' diagonal.
