Are there anything cons to using a mirror? I plan on building a vertical standing projector and I want to know if a mirror will decrease lumens and or invert the image? Thanks any other information technical information on mirrors would be helpful too

well, you will decrease lumens by maybe 6% I think? you should use a first surface mirror(they have them in the LL store) to prevent ghosting and the lcd will need to be the opposite of a "standard" projector, ie, the side that faces the bulb in a "straight" pj will now be the side that faces the triplet in a vertical

In addition, see member DAZZZLA's plog for info on the accuracy with which you apparently must align the mirror to avoid projection artifacts.
