I don't understand what i need to do. I downloaded the program, and if I open a file, saying open with> it opens and i can see the info, but it closes within a second, so I can't even read what it says. What do I do to make this work exactly? Thanks

Yeah, I have read and read that. I am not good at computer stuff. Explain what I type and where. Do I change the name of the photo?

{quote]-te <name> Transplant Exif header from image <name> into specified image. This option is useful if you like to edit the photos but still want the Exif header on your photos. As most photo editing programs will wipe out the Exif header, this option can be used to re-transplant them back in after editing the photos.

It's a bit complicated. There might be far better programs to use, what is it that you're trying to do?

A really nice free program for image display, conversion, resizing, etc is Irfanview and available here:

I seem to have a lot of time on my hands right now, just playin, and decided today I was gonna get it to work. I downloaded this demon 3 months ago and didn't mess with it after it not working.
Mainly to see the speed of one's camera with posted pics, and the f. Thanks

Learn something new every day. I downloaded the latest version of Irfanview along with the iv_misc.zip plugins.
It will display the exif camera information if it's embedded in the image. It actually displays more information than jhead.

I checked a small number of images posted here and found only one that contained the exif camera information though.

Yeah, I just downloaded it, and it is neat.
