Found this baby at my local Goodwill Store. Measures 13.5"x13.5"x72". Has power cord, switch, ballast and a working M250U lamp-awesome!! I know this doesn't quite meet our specs but for 20 bucks there are a lot of parts and potential here. If anyone in the Seattle area wants one there are two left at the store. Goodwill Industries address: 12808 Ambaum ave sw Burien, WA. Cannot believe how much this already looks like a projector. My wife still thinks I am crazy with our new "lumen tower" gracing the garage....one day she'll see the light.

Man, you're already a few steps ahead. If it's a 400 Metal Hillide Ballast, I say that's very good cause you can get a better lamp - even the bt28 EYE.
You'll definitely surprise your wife when it's all done.
Good luck.

just change out the bulb, and ballast add fan and you have a premade lightbox for you.
