After I bought the plans, I went to the private forum. I found a thread that was descussing some different things, but had a few pictures of screens being run with the lights on in the room. You might want to consider putting atleast one of those pics with a short description somewhere for the general public to see(without searching the thread). That would have made my decision happen a lot faster.

just an idea.

edit- dunno if I was clear enough above. it showed the screen working very well with some moderate light. I had a specific situation that required this atmosphere, so I was hesitant. those pictures put me at ease.

do you recall who's picture it was and the thread or can you provide a link to it?

thanks, Joe

it is a post by brainchild in the "new lamp specification, considering changing the guide" thread. towards the bottom of the page there is an image with the following information above it "...This shot was taken with 3 60 watt lightbulbs on in the room...."

I didn't want to overstep my priveledges and post something from the private forums though.

This might be something to put on the front page, or maybe on a "sticky post" in the public forum. I think it will push alot of people towards buying.
