smile.gif Nice!

I was on a roll until two days ago when my panel stopped working.
So yours is a bit smaller then the one you cut for me?

Looks great so far Joe.

Actually I was going to see about getting a thin piece of aluminium cut to match the top panel. Somthing that I could just glue over the one I have. That would look slick.

Also, I could use a stand if you already have one programed, or are going to be doing it some time in the near future.

As for the box itself Im really happy with it!
Thanks again.

That - is - AWESOME! Can you post pics of the the box put together all the way? The tops and bottums. biggrin.gif

Great I just wanted to make sure you were using an NView panel. I ordered on to replace a broken Boxlight panel it sucks though because the Boxlight was 10.5" but had a 1024x768 resolution. The NView that I will be using is a NView Spectra C about the same specs as yours but I'll be projecting fromonly about 10' the most. I figure my 250 watt metal halide should do the trick.

I love the mini-has design and I want something similar my build but it will have to be a bit more angular less curves.

I need to send you a few plans to get your opinion.

Have you ever thought about using a 220mm,220mm build Lumenlab sells the Variafocal lense that can adjust from 217-317mm but I'm not sure how large the image would be using this combo. I would think that it would make the image much larger or would it be the opposite way around?

I have the vari-focal, if you look at my simple 7" i used it and also teatsed it with my universial small projector thread, and the throw distance if about the same as the triplet so image is the same in size, but it has a smaller apature and the image is not as bright as the standard triplet.

Ok thanks appreciate it just wanted to know if it was worth it to try or not.

biggrin.gif That would be awesome!
I will gladly pick up the shipping charge at least. PM me if you dont have my adress in your records still.
Im at that adress until june 30th.

So... can we expect a super-kewl LL or Joechevy CNC logo/cooling slot carved in the top of your personal mini Hass? smile.gif
DarkMeat
Joe could you post a pic of how you have the mainboard of your lcd placed in your pj. I'll be running into similar problems when I get my lcd and what are the dimensions of the screen itself (including the metal case that is)?
vakantieman12
joe,

do plans exist for the mini haas? and if so, how mini can the mini get?
joecnc2006
I will see if i can post some drawings soon.

The size of any projector is governed by the lcd panel and the optics used.

Joe
Nudel
That... is just beautiful!
Great work, love you cnc machine too!

Joe2000chevy,

Are you going to post the plans of your mini Haas?

BTW, it was your website that led me to LumenLabs, back in January, so I'm much appreciated!

Joe,

Are you selling Hass box kits? If you are, I might beinterested in buying one. I would prefer a Sovo Ceiling mount or Joe's Bakery, but if a Hass box can be ceiling mounted I would be happy with one. Let me know.
joecnc2006
yes it can be ceiling mounted, if you make a stand just invert it or use the two bolts out the side for a mount.
joecnc2006
Here are the DWG files if someone would like to diminsion them and post a pdf file to scale for people to print out. I just do not have the time right now.

Also a 3D view in Solidworks or like would be handy.

joe
joecnc2006
and side plate for socket. i will try to get the stepdowns for the fan, socket, and lens holder.
illusionistpro
can some one put these up in pdf cause i dont have anything that reads dwg files...
joecnc2006
The reason I posted the dwg files, is because they have no diminsions and did not have time to sit down and diminsion it for everyone, However if someone would like to do it and repost them, it would be a help.

Here is a free cadd program which is a acad look alike, that is free to use. (for personal use)

http://www.progecad.com/downloads/

called progecadd lt 2006.

I have it installed however i use acad 2007.

What is the model number of the nview z projector used in the build? I am having trouble finding an 8in nview z series projection panel.
