I decidet to make LCD projector with 17" LCD panel: But I would like to use this fresnel for 15" as well..

For 17" LCD: is it better to use 320*400 mm fresnel or 395*395 mm fresnel

There are 320*400 mm frens in this focal lenght 220 330 or 550 : is the best solution using 220mm for LAMP side and 330 for objectiv side...

ill use sandwich method: lamp- frenel- lcd -fresnel -objecitve

Is 400W METAL HALOGEN lamp suitable for that?

what about brightness LL projectors vs commercial?

I think with the larger triplets and 400w MH lamp you will be very please with the brightness. Follow the Elken2004 post they are working on matching the lamp colors to the LCD. I am very pleased with my projector. I am making a 2nd build with a larger triplet. For me half the fun is learning a lot. If you want to just have a projector and watch movies then commerical is an option. I am not very good with German, but I would e-mail the site for the specs of the objectives. I know that there is at least 2 German sites, and check out www.allinbox.com a French site.
