I measured the lcd at Best Buy and it is 21" viewable diagonal . The fresnel is 22" diagonal.
Will this lcd work with the fresnels and pro lens setup.

This monitor is a 16:10 ratio HDCP compliant with component & dvi inputs and others. I would love to use this lcd monitor with my new setup. It's a $600.00 purchase. But I figure I would not need any more transcoders , scalers or whatever else there might be needed to put the picture on the wall.

If Brain or other LL'rs that know anything about getting this size of lcd to work I'd appreciate input.

Would someone do me a favor and put in a 21 inch widescreen in the focal calculator with a distance of 12.5 feet with pro lens and fresnels and post the projected screen size here for me. I am at my daughters and she has a Mac computer and I am barely surviving on it.
I would appreciate it. CS

Cold Steel, I'm not sure if I'm doing it right, but here goes:

Using Focal Calc II v1.43, Split

- LCD: 21 in
- Fresnel FL: 220 mm
- Triplet FL: 500 mm
- Fresnel Gap: 20 mm
- Screen Distance: 12.5 Feet
- LCD Distance: 573.528 mm
- Screen: 152.922 in

- Image Magnification: 6.62
- Triplet Field Angle: 54.0195
- Virtual LCD Height: 586.74
- Virtual LCD Distance: 22
- Fresnel Magnification: 1.1

A 10mm gap changes the Screen to 145.64 in
