I was just leafing through the Surplus Shed catalog, and I found an interesting ad for a Diamond Visionics DLP projection system. They have no way of testing whether they work or not--if nothing else, it'll need a bulb--but they appear to be in excellent condition. I apologize for the image quality, I don't have a scanner.

For the price, this seems like it'd be fun to play around with.

These were made for rear projection systems in tank simulators. I have the manual around somewhere, but decided against trying it. If anyone wants the manual, post here and I'll try to dig it up.

Got one, not good. Well worth the price in parts, but the application presupposes a networked set of monitors if it does not see the network the device will not function. Even given the manual I could not get it to work. Bypassing the existing boards is worse than buying a development kit as well
