Has anybody had any experience stripping the Benq FP537s and whether there are any FFC or other issues?

Look in the compatable monitors list and find the Benq 557s list. It is very similar to your panel. Other people have used that to strip the 537 sucessfully. At least they said it worked.
The description is straightforward and worked well for me. Took about 20 minutes to strip my panel.
