Nice design I remember seeing it during the building process just remember to post some pics whiles you are enjoying it. About how tall did the final enclosure end up?
RaginRudolph
DarkMeat I never took a measurement of the height of the stand but I now the triplet is at 46" off the floor.

Not a bad height looks like it can go over the back of the couch wtihout anyone blocking the view. I like the way all your external inputs are resting aboove and below it looks like one piece. All your missing in your pic is a few console systmes wink.gif
slowquicksilver
Looks great!! Do you have a PLOG so we all can take a look at the inside of it? Also, what kind os screen are you using?
blake
Dude, that's amazing, you simply must post some in game screens of MOH. smile.gif I also noticed you're using the N6, you don't seem to be getting any "fuzziness", how were you able to get such good image quality with the N6? Settings?
RaginRudolph
Yes SlowQuickSilver I do have a plog showing my build and Blake I have never owned a N6 with my first build I had a N4 and with PJ #2 I'm using a Philips FRT9964 E-Box.

How much do you think the color intensity and contrast improved when you switched to a 17 inch?
RaginRudolph
I would say 20% with color improvment . the ps2 games never came in clear with my 15 inch PJ but now since it's connected to the new 17' PJ I plan on keeping it hook up .

Hey RaginR, I know this vertical line happened sometime back in your plog but I can't help share a similar experience when I had a horizontal line going on my lcd and had thought I just toasted another panel. Little did I know it was the ffc ribbon more than likely misaligned and when I bumped it by accident it disappeared. I'm sure you had checked this already and sorry if I hadn't searched back if you had. Just thought I'd plug in something that came to mind while reading your thread.

I have check to make sure my connection was tight but I also was thinking the same thing that it could be a bad connection or evne the controller board ,Sim thanks for bring this to my attention because I have two of the same type of LG monitors one was a damage one I got off ebay for $70 and the other is almost new I haven't srtip either one and I was going to start with the new one but now I think I'm going to start with the damage one and test my PJ's panel with it,s controller and cables just to be sure my current panel has a dead row of pixals.

RR,

Great result. I hope when I build mine, it'll give me the result like that. By the way, how high is your ceiling?

It's been a while since I posted but recently I change out my RS mirror with a FS mirror and I also wanted to post some pics shoing off the oppo dvd player player through the philips e-box ftr9965 model against my PC witch is a 256 sony pentium 3 using the Power DVD player ,all picture are taken with a Kodak 5.0 easy share digital camera with the long time exposure set at 0.7 . I'm using a LG l1720p LCD with VGA and DVI inputs.

Just wanted to give you a look at what type of pic you can get without using a PC

RR
RaginRudolph
I had to play with the pc a little bit and try to get some better pics , I didn't put any settings on the camera this time they seem to make some parts of the picture to bright . All pic are from the pc, the first 3 are dvi and the last 2 are vga
RaginRudolph
It's very hard to get a good picture of what really showing these pics are still a little dark .

Incredible results! Also, the DVI seems to help a good amount with PC especially. My projector has DVI but I am using VGA currently, think I'll have to get a DVI cord for this... biggrin.gif

Would you say it's worth the upgrade?

I never whatch movies on my computer because the 5.1 surround is better through my reciever, the DVI on the computer makes the picture brighter and I can get good color but the richness and the detail through the oppo using VGA has me hooked, the picture not as bright though. As you can see from the above pics the OPPO also has DVI but as I said earlier the details on the vga is sweet, it's just using the e-box in VGA all of the picture controls work except for brightness, are there any other E-BOX users having the same problem and also how do you like your pics playing through DVI.

I finally decided to put some time into the remote control I purchase about a year ago, beside the PJ this has to be my next love,it's a Pronto TSU 7000 by Philips.
I won it on e-bay for about $200 and this thing rocks.
For those you who havdn't heard of it you not only can you program all of you audio and visaul remote controls but it will basiclly take anything that uses a infered remote signal, but here's the sweet part of it you create your on layout backgroud and also buttons.
In a 24 hour period I have my E-box,Oppo dvd player,Samsung dvd player Vios HD box and my Sony 5.1 surroundsound program into with my on backgrouds an button cofiguration.
I can't post any pic with my button layout but I can post some of the back grounds that I used.
