oops

Have u tried firing the panel up yet? Make sure its dry of course...
It looks like maybe just a protective plastic layer thats come up , but i may be wrong.
Once those edge connectors come up mind theres little to save em....
Best to see if the panel is still working, then take it from there..good luck ohmy.gif

difficult to say..you need a fixed, constant pressure..
like i said, is the panel working?

I have still some ag on it, it stucked in one corner, when i have removed it and let it dry in som few hours i will test it.

What are thoose connectors for?
Phife
duct tape? why duct tape?

BTW those are Side FFC's they control the pixels on a horizontal plane.. if its not connected you will have a band of no image across 1/3 of your screen.

I was thinking the same thing, duct tape is WAY too strong for this kinda use, scotch tape or masking tape is a much better option. And you should never ever apply the tape directly to your FFC connectors.

I have orderd a Dell screen now, 450:1 constrast 16ms, 240USD inclusive shipping.

Ya really should try you LCD before giving up on it.. ive had a FFC come loose on me.. i thought for sure it was ruined.. but all it needed was a but of pressure on it to hold it in place and tight to the LCD and it hasnt giving me a problem since.

But if its too late and you already got a new one lemme know if you wanna sell your current one.

dont give up on it till u try it i was removing my ffc from its clip and it wouldnt come up so i pried it up but my screw driver sliped and tore three or four lines in the ffc after punching everything in site i pluged it in and it fired right up to the start screen i may still have some problems but it fires up at least .if u could get like those chip clips for holding bags of chips closed they have constant pressure accrosssed the hole bar and there plastic then clamp it down try to make sure all i lined up then plug it in good luck.
