hello world
Hey I am a serious noob at this, and I know it is probobly just laziness on my part for not looking harder, but does anybody here know if there is a good 15" sxga monitor (with decent contrast and response times), I REALLY don't want to have to use my 17" monitor, because then I would have to buy the uber expensive pro lense kit thing and I don't have enough money for that yet. PLEASE PLEASE help, I have searched and searched!

Note: It has to be 1280x1024!

If there were a 1280x1024 15" then I'm sure everybody(or almost everybody) would have one, but there isn't. There might be but it would probably cost you more then you want to spend. So like most of the people here that want 720p support your gonna have to go with a 17" you can also use the standard lens with the 17", your just going to get darker corners and such.

My research has led me to these guys:

http://www.millertech.com/computer-lcds.htm#15.4

7" 800 X 600

10.4 800 X 600, remote, OSD, ntsc/svideo/VGA

15.4 widescreen, 1280 X 800, ntsc/svideo/VGA, open frame and full monitors

17" , remote, 1280X1024

Dont know if the resolutions given are native or not. Considering one of these for the next PJ. Also considering talking to them about a custom solution as well.
