Is that a reliable website?

Must send in mail in rebates. Get your money back in about 31 years. LoL

Actually, I hate mail in rebates. I don't respond to any specials that have them. I've been suckered too much. Half the time they find a reason not to honer them.

A special just ain't a special in my opinion if you have to pay full price and HOPE that they give your money back.

That's wierd. I've sent in literally hundreds of electronics rebates and they have ALL been honored and usually in less than 4 weeks. blink.gif

Could you place the link please, I could not find it?

ECost just listed the 15 inch X2Gen (1024 x 768, 16ms, 300:1 contrast) for $119. Looks like a pretty good deal.

Well Trofeo99 stripped an X2GEN 15" LCD and she said it had very solid cables with no FFC issues and was easy to strip. Not sure the 17" would be the same case, but at least it's somethin to go on. smile.gif

Oh and chkrickt I believe the official specs for the 15" X2GEN are 350:1 with an 8ms response time. (from their website anyway)
