Had my (2) evercool fans in proj for about 9 weeks - now one of them only works on low - potentiometer speed control no longer works...

are these fans destined to fail? anyone else have problems?

Thanks,

Nedster

I have been using 2 evercool fans in my projector for nearly 12 months now..no problems whatsoever. They still perform like new. Sounds to me that you just got a bad one.

I think by and large the PCAC Evercools are okay but there have been some issues. Of course, that happens with almost anything.

Lumenlab not too long ago stopped selling the Evercools due - in part, I believe - to these rare early failure problems and maybe because they didn't move quite as much air as they were advertised as moving.

They're still available elsewhere and from what I've seen of the two I have (bought a spare wink.gif ) I personally wouldn't hesitate to buy another one.
