just need to ask a few questions before i get started

im sorry for any questions that i am probably repeating here
1. if i order the Mega-Projector Kit (uk) what else will i need to buy?
2. this kit says it does not have power cable, and ac adapter... are these easily accessible?
3. how long would the Mega-Projector Kit take to arrive in the uk?
4. what is a recommended monitor to use?
5. what is the recommended way to mount/fix the fresnel lenses and screen?
think thats it now, i you can think of any tips that could help me during my build i would be greatful
thanks

firstly,
welcome to the LL forums... you will find many, many helpful people here, but you will also need to do a bit of reading (that might be the understatement of the year)... there is a lot of reading you can do here... many people experiment to try and give the best results from the DYI projector. To start off, if you have not read this post
State of the DYI Projector, I would suggest starting here... there are many jumpoffs from this thread that will point you in the right direction to answering you own questions above. I will quickly outline some of the answers from your questions above....
1) you will need an LCD of course, and means to build a suitable enclosure
2) in a word, yes.
3) lumenlab ships quick, they use USPS which is pretty reliable oversea's... and quick. most things i've read from people in the UK have been disappointment with their own local post service, or perhaps a tax or duty that needs to be paid... other UK members could certainly fill in the blanks here....
4) many. it's going to be up to you to choose depending on how much you want to spend, and what you plan to watch. To be safe, you can choose one that someone else has already used to be sure that there are no "issues" (like needed to extend and FFC or something)
5) again; many. you can read through the PLOG section, many good designs there, which may give you your own wonderful mounting method.
we're all here when you need us...
cheers,
