I'm thinking about getting a lilliput screen (619GL-70NP) that has a native 800x480 resolution, but I am concerned it will not run in that resolution.

I plan on connecting it using the RCA input, just like I connect my dvd player to my tv/vcr. I was wondering if any one has had experience with a lilliput that know if connecting it via RCA would cause it to run at the standard dvd player (640x480 i think) resolution.

here is a link to the monitor link

Thanks!

With a RCA input the maximum resolution the panel will receive is 240 lines. You will be in fact "dumbing down" the signal to less than the panels native resolution.
