I was just making some adjustments to my projector and noticed the mogul was loose, I tried to tighten but couldn't get any more with a hand screwdriver, so I predrilled new holes. When I screwed the mogul back in and replaced the lamp, I realized I had rotated the mogul 180 degrees. The residue inside the lamp arc is now on the ceiling. I wasn't sure if this is a good idea or not so I haven't powered back on yet. Could it cause damage or trouble?

I'm not certain of all of the specifics regarding vaporization and/or redeposition characteristics of the various metal salts and such within the arc tube but there should be absolutely no problem with reorienting a universal burn position lamp at any time during its service life.

I have the t15 pulse strike from the ll store and I have changed the position of the arc tube at least 5 times already. I have not run into any problems. I usually run it for a few movies... see something I think I can improve, rebuild, watch some more movies... repeat. So I havent yet played any games on it as I fear I already spend too much time with this thing ph34r.gif anyone else addicted? btw I ordered my parts in feb of this year.
