I have this Small LCD panel that has this Empty Load Prohibit warning on it. I know it is for the backlight and if it isn't, seriously bad things can happen to the board. I know trying to divert the load will not work. So I was wondering if I could remove the high voltage Inverter completely from the board without any adverse effects. I provided a pic to show what I plan to do. If you notice there are two capistors (I think) on both side with the inverter in the middle. Could this possibly work? or Am I just wishful thinking?

Suggest you take the flourescent tube out of the backlight, hook it up to your controller board inside your PJ and cover it with some flashing. That way you're not messing with the electonics.
