I'd maybe someday like to have a few of these cut out of UHMW - or similar - by someone with a CNC router. Anyone willing to give it a shot sometime in the future? I have one other part similar to this one but about half the length. We can discuss price if yer willin'. The piece below is roughly 16 inches long and of roughly 1/2" thick stock. It's been awhile since I've thought about this and am not in a hurry at all. The holes are through cuts and there is one unpictured rabbet cut along the widest part of the piece. The through holes wouldn't have to go through as I could finish them with an X-acto knife or similar. The pictured part would require a mirrored mate. It's a fuselage for an R/C combat aircraft. There is a commercial version but I've modified the fuselage a bit to be more to my liking. I can provide a DXF file or probably just about whatever you'd need in terms of an electronic file.
