I have a female rca connector i need to mount. so its female rca on one end attached to a cable on the other. I was thinking of drilling a whole so that its a tight squeeze twist to get the connector in but I dont think it will be secure enough to have no risk of being pulled out or pushed in or am i way off base here?

Your can get "RCA-type" jacks that are already mounted on a piece of plastic at Radio Shack for less than $5. Home Depot carries similar items mounted to metal wall plates. Connections on the other side allow for easy soldering.

Ah Radio Shack, if I only had that luxury here in Brazil. Ok so your saying this is a rca connector that is made for mounting in electronic projects? I know a place here that sells electronic parts for electronic hobbists so will look there. Thanks.
