i found a website that had a X2GEN MG17R 17" SXGA display for only $130. It has a 750:1 contrast ratio, 8ms response time, 1280x1024 resolution. Unfortnunately the rebate ended yesterday so i searched around for some other websites and found this one, http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/Se...p?EdpNo=1784293 , for only $20 more but dosent have very good specs details, so i typed in the model number and searched some more and my results frustrated me. different websites had different specs for the same monitor. Has anyone had experience with this monitor? Or does anyone know the real specs for it?

Thanks for the specs page.... I bought this monitor and stripped it a couple of days ago, no FFC issues at all! Can't wait to see what she can do.

Updates..... this is why I asked.... I'm finding differences in specs, but I purchased the monitor for $130 after the $99 rebate from PCMall and have the manual.....

Thats great to hear about the FFC, I would love to see some pics of this stripped. Keep us updated on this LCD, seem very inexpensive
