Since I moved and hooked my surround sound back up, I have not been getting any sound from my center speaker with movies. Usually when I play a movie with dolby digital, the voices come out of this channel. It does not matter whether or not the movie is played from my htpc or a separate dvd player. When I test for sound from the speakers, I get the same buzz as the other speakers, but movies do not seem to work. I was wondering if anyone had any idea why this would occur.

what are you using to decode the surround sound ? A/V receiver, computer sound card, etc.. ? what is the make/model of your decoder (receiver, card) how is it attached ? (coax/optical)

could just be a setup problem, but need a little more info first.

cheers,

I am using a kenwood reciever that came with the system. I wil have to look go look at the model number. It is hooked up from the dvd player with a fiber optic cable. Then of course speaker wires to the speakers.
