The lens was tested with the equivalent of a 19" panel size, but we'd like to ascertain the true limits of the lens before we can recommend any panel size bigger than 19". I strongly suggest using a 17" or 17" WS for now. I believe this will give you a nearly perfect picture and throw.

The pictures below were provided by Supra to demonstrate the edge focus of the lens. He should see a big improvement in corner brightness once he adjusts for the new lenses. Here you can see focus all the way to the corners:

Is this image projected? and if so, what size?
Thanks

Nah, if I recall correctly this is just a reference image SupraGuy posted to show which parts of the actual projected image he was showing in some other pics. Note the red rectangles. So, this is a picture of a monitor and not a projected image. Pretty dang sure of that but I'd have to go back and check.

I mean - it DOES look like a picture of a monitor - don't it? blink.gif huh.gif ph34r.gif

EDIT: Went back and checked and yep it looks like it IS a projected image. SupraGuy probably has screen size info in his plog.

Does look like a monitor though - doesn't it? Looks like a bezel around the edges!

It is indeed a projected image. This was the first prototype lens that Brain sent to Supraguy for testing. He was demonstrating that the corner focus on the pro lense is good for up to a 19" LCD. (I believe he did this by shifting the triplet slightly on his 17" LCD) You can see in the extreme upper left corner the light leaks around the wide FFC's coming from the LCD.
