I was wondering if this was a good bulb and if it wuld work with an ANSI m59 magnetic ballast?

Description only talks about HPS ballasts (S51) might work on a M59 but proabbly not well.

Yeah, that is a retrofit bulb meant to be used on HPS gear. It would need an S51 magnetic ballast and I think it would also work on the LumenLab electronic ballast.

Thats the same ballast the S400DD uses, I'm sure it would be fine on an EBallast.
