Oh my gosh... Oblivion looks like such an awsome game! Beautiful graphics! Any game where you get to ride a horse is an instant hit with me! (except dynasty warriors...)
Looks like a great game, and it looks great on your projector! Is that the PC or Xbox 360 version?

ChristmasGT, with those Xbox 360 pics, it looks like you don't have the "black crush" darkness problem common to our projectors.
Are you using component out or the VGA cable (or something else) with the 360?
I browsed through your plog, but couldn't find what you used. BTW, I live in Lee's Summit.

WOOOAA you're like 3 miles from my house, I still need decent frames for my projector so that I can ceiling mount it, the ones I have are absolute junk.
I'm running on the Xbox 360 with the VGA cable, And when I do get my computer hooked up to it, I'd really really hate too adjust the colors with the video card, too me the projector should be able to be fully capable of doing everything brightness / color wise through the LCD Panel Itself, I believe I've achieved that goal

Chad if your ever up for a good talk PM me, I can show you the projector in person, there are some Ideas / designs I wanna work out, I really need frames though and keystone adjustment, something i'm going to have to work out very soon.
And oh yeah! I'm absolutely HONORED to be apart of the Hall of Fame thread! thanks for making that possible everyone!

Check out the focus in the word RUF in the upper corner, also the camera is making the images a tadd bit TOO bright washing them out some, and I've been trying to figure out how to control it to no avail, so the images are a tadd darker (but much much MUCH more colorful)

Wonderfull that your results turned out as they did Christmas. This is to others...bear in mind that Christmas still has A/G on his panel plus the TAC underneath it. And all he did was made the rough texture of the A/G extremely smooth to a gleam and close to a glass reflection. By doing this he helped his light to pass through easier without the diffuseness of the A/G. Especially at a dozen times polish, I bet he can see his reflection on it now.

LOL better then that Sim, since my Projector is aimed at my TV I can actually see the image almost fantastically on the AG side of the LCD when its turned on.

Speechless...brightness uniformity looks outstanding, these are the BEST screenshots I have seen as of now with the PRO lens. And knowing it looks better in person blows me away.
Now take away that commercial and lets see some real screenies
You've inspired me too start a 17" Pro set-up, but not for a while as I'm sort of broke...

So, you're now using one 550 and one 330 fresnel from DIY correct? Earlier you said you opted for the DIY long-throw lens too (which I don't see on their site). Is it the 500 modified or the 450 unmodified?
If not perhaps they no longer carry the optic set up you selected. Yet your results were crazy good!
If you're switch to the LL Pro, would you want to consider selling the optics (or a portion of) you've got now?
FYI... Super impressive stuff! You inspired me to purchase the Samsung LCD.

It actually was the 450 unmodded, then the 500 modded, I can't give a fair review of the 500 modded since I didn't ideallistically tune my setup to gear twords it, so i'll keep my mouth shut about it.
as for the 450 unmodded, it really was a great lense, Nice, Bright, but the focus just wasn't there, it always felt fuzzy to me, with the LL Pro all of that goes away, it looks sinisterly good.
LOL I have my 450 lense still, but its dismantled (I used the enormous case for the LL Pro Lense's new home...one day i'll give you pictures of truely how DIY it is.)
LOL btw Noticed you're from MO too, where about? Im in Independence.

Hello ChristmasGT!
Beautiful results! It's very nice.
Just a question about your GameCube. I've seen your screenshots from Zelda and Paper Mario. Which video link do you use between your GC and your projector?
In Europa we have only the composite output. No components. So the quality is not so good...
