Hello,

First post I think... joined about 2 months back and have begun my projector (15" Hass) build and now have a few simple question.

Using the standard 220/330/lens kit from LumenLabs can you give me some EXACT measurements (in millimeters) from your set up? (the ones that are giving you the optimal focused/bright results) (8-10 foot diag in 4:3)

I know the appoximate values for these... I'm just looking for some EXACT measurements (in millimeters would be nice, but inches is okay) from existing working machines.

1. Distance from the center of the bulb (filliment) to the rear fresnel

2. Space between rear fresnel <-> lcd and lcd <-> from frensel (should be 7/8" if you followed the design... just want to make sure)

3. Distance from the front fresnel to the rear part of the triplet lens when focus

4. Also, what is your distance from the lens to the wall? What diagonal size in 4:3 is this giving you?

Thanks a bunch, Chris

Ok... guess I'm not going to get any exact numbers.

Please just reassure me that the measurements on this image are accurate.

.... and that all I have to do is build to allow about 25mm (one inch) of travel either way for both the bulb and the triplet lens. (I'll be projecting from 8' - 9' feet from the wall)

Just want to make sure before messing things up.

Thanks, Chris

great place to start - BUT, your build and location will dictate the EXACT measurements. no one can tell you what will work best for you other than you.
