has anyone used the water/sponge method on the 522a? Is there anything different that i need to know about? It seems like it should be very easy because the water can't damage anything except on the bottom edge where the board is attatched.

Dan, Did you ever remove the AG from your lcd? If you did how did it go?

I did the mod on my 522a. It was a piece of cake. I used paper towels and distilled water. Took 24 hours of soaking for the AG to come off.

I did mine as well. Stick with the 24 hour soaking period. Bad things happen when you don't soak long enough.

Sometimes bad things happen if you soak to long though.

Like "grain".

I'd suggest checking it every couple of hours. If it's not pulling off like butter ( read VERY easily) then let it set a few more hours and try again.

It's a relief to know that somone has removed the anti-glare on the CT-522a. I am about to start stripping mine cool.gif .
