130mm fresnel(ohp)-320mm fresnel-lcd-objective

Can this be done in a unsplit design or split but all fresnels behind the lcd? I think it should work fine except the 320mm fresnel needs to be much larger than the lcd since the cone of light is even smaller going through 2 x 320mm fresnels(the ohp 320mm and the singlet).

Honestly drac, I would have attempted to help the first time if I could figure out just what you're talking about. Could you be a little more exact about what you are trying to accomplish?

haha. Ok . You have the lamp. Then you have a doublet OHP fresnel placed at 130mm(its FL). then you have 5mm space. Then you have a 330mm FL single fresnel. Then you have 2cm space. Then lcd. The rest you know.

I assume this will work if the following conditions exist.
Lets say the lcd is 5 inches wide and all 3 fresnels are 7 inches wide.

Will it work or not?

I cant offer a mathmatical explination of the focus lengths,
But I have used 3 fresnals with good results in my last pj.
I used the 3rd as precondesor sort of. I just used my eyes, and trial and error.
Good luck.

Can you please be more specific. The condenser type lens was a OHP doublet fresnel? So you had this fresnel plus 2 other singlet fresnels? Where these split or unsplit? What distance from each other.
