Looks like marketing BS but this company claims that it can insert projector functionality in any handheld device (phone, media player, gps, laptop etc...) to generate a 11" x17" image why not smaller or bigger??? and no mention of resolution or how many micro seconds before a light source bright neought to see will blow thru your phone batteries

I saw that story earlier. What I'm trying to figure out is WHY?

bad eyesight would be one...

I know we all invented this in our minds years ago.

I think that part of the reason is that they've shrunk the electronics and battery so the thing restricting them shrinking the phone is the display so if they could use a projector they might be able to get away with a smaller LCD just for dialing.
