is it possible to project a widesreen 16:9 --150 inches diagona sizel using a 17 inches or 15 inches 4:3 lcd panel??

basically yes. if you are using a PC to drive the montior and you want the desktop in 16:9 you can use the program PowerStrip if your graphics card does not support 16:9 resolutions.
