Does 1080p through component with NO HDCP. ohmy.gif

And it is supposed to be able to do 1080p through HDMI and DVI with a soon to be released firmware upgrade.

*edit* The firmware upgrade is already out so 1080p over HDMI also.

Notice it also has VGA up to 1280*1024

It is a nice dvd player. The only issue I found with it is HDMI is not compatible with Sony Bravia LCDs. There is a 2 inch horizontal line of distortion across the screen in 720P and 1080i doesn't work at all. It works fine with component input and also with the VGA input. Neo tech support said it's a compatibility issue.

Just got it in the mail and MAN OH MAN I'm impressed.

A 175" projection at 1080p is so nice.... I didn't know if it would be that much better than 1080i , but it is.

It's about like the difference between 420p and 1080i. blink.gif
