But they are also more expensive, and require more expensive ballasts. They maintain lumens better also, something like 80% efficiency, around their, and the standard M59 bulbs are less, but that is over a LONG period of time, so assuming you watch the projector for 10hrs a day, you have a few years before you will see a significant brightness drop.
That bulb will work perfectly as it is horizontal burn, and its the regular length and diameter. Its the best option for those who already own an M59 ballast and don't want to upgrade to the M135 PS ballast, or e-ballast. Yeah, so the main reason the PS beats it is better lumen upkeep and faster restrike time, but its a relatively small difference if your not picky.
