Welcome

This is the process to remove the Anti Glare from a BENQ FP591. These monitors are certainly one of the easier monitors to remove it from. I stripped monitor and decide to remove the AG first up and this is how I did it. biggrin.gif

Monitor - BENQ FP591
Method - water
JohnBuster99
This is the monitor stripped, paper towel placed on top and used halve of cup of STW (sydney tap water) left it for about half an hour and started to try and get the AG off( just couldnt wait smile.gif ) The corner came up using a hobby knife to seperate it from the polarisier when worked around the sides
JohnBuster99
Used a hobby knife to life AG
JohnBuster99
Slowly worked AG off but seemed to get harder and dry out so place papertowels back on and left it for about halve a hour then started to sort of roll it off like rolling up a newspaper with the wet paper towel still on
JohnBuster99
Place paper towels back on and even though the water didnt seem to go through the AG it made it easier to come off
JohnBuster99
Keep rolling it up like a newspaper and got to the end in what seemed like 5mins?. Maybe if I left it for a couple of hours it might of fallen off by itself rolleyes.gif
