Hi, I wondering what kind of optics are needed for a 17" widescreen lcd? I assume I would need the Pro Condenser and Field freshnel lens. Could I just use the standard triplet instead of the pro? Don't really want to spend 200$ on a lens. Thanks.

You could use the standard triplet , but the corners would be dim and not focused.
