How close are these plans to what a person needs?
I built my box and my frames are done and I can space everything out exactly like these plans.
Do you think the results will be pretty good or do you think there will be alot of tweaking?
I am still waiting for a few parts before i can test it out and thought I would ask what you guys think.
Click to view attachmentI think the general consensus around here will be that there is always room for a lot of tweaking - it just depends on how hard the "tweak bug" bites you. That setup will probably be OK, but to get an optimum setup, you'll probably want to play with it. Just depends on what your definition of "good enough" is. Tweaking includes a lot more than just layout, also - anywhere from painting everything flat black to removing the antiglare on your flat panel. I would guess that that layout will not need a whole lot of tweaking if you build everything very well - everything aligned perfectly. More tweakability in design/construction gives you more room for error in construction. I know I sure need that room.
What a person needs is subjective. Define what you want, and do what it takes to get there.
How's that for a vague, philosophical answer?
